Overview
Alvaro recieved his B.A. in Lingüistics and Literature, with a mention in Hispanic Literature, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. His research focuses on how epistemological otherness has been portrayed in Latin American texts, and the aesthetic and political implications of those representations. His research interests currently include colonialism, posthumanism, fiction theory, speculative realism, affect theory, speculative fiction and poetics.
