Overview
Daniel Rosa Hunter is a Ph.D. student in Romance Studies (Spanish). He received his B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Puerto Rico. He also earned an M.A. in Literary Studies from Universidad Complutense de Madrid where his research focused on the notions of writer’s image and autofiction in the work of Mario Levrero. His research interests include self-writings (diaries, autobiographies, autobiographical novels, autofiction) and the notions of authorship, disappropriation, and falsification in 20th and 21st century hispanic literature.
Daniel is also the author of one book of poetry El espacio de las islas (Demoliendo Hoteles x Editorial Pulpo, 2022) and a short novel La máscara del santo (La pequeña, 2024). He is co-founder and editor in the literary magazine Demoliendo Hoteles (demoliendohoteleslit.com).
