Overview

Jacob Matthews received his BA from Columbia University in French and Francophone Studies. His current research explores empirical methods for studying literature, bridging literary theory, cognitive science, and computational psycholinguistics. This work focuses on how language model representations inform our understanding of the mechanisms underlying human language processing, particularly when confronted with literary and poetic linguistic conventions.
