Overview
Juan José Bermudez Florez holds a B.A. in Hispanic Literature from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He was a founding member of the Simposio de Posthumanismos en Latinoamérica, held in May 2025. His work has engaged with archival research, critical posthumanism, and affect theory to examine the formation and dissolution of communities. Currently, his research aims to explore Latin American fiction in search of end-of-the-world scenarios that allow us to interrogate relations between human and nonhuman agencies, particularly through the spatial and affective transformations involved in processes of subject formation.
