Overview
Zixiao received her BA in French with a minor in German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her current research interests include 19th-20th century French literature (from Romanticism to fin de siècle); comparative modernism (French, English, German, Chinese, Japanese); temporality; affect theory; narratology, and poetics.
